In just over one month, Impossible Cloud Network launched mainnet. Not with hype, but with real infrastructure.
In an industry full of noise, ICN shipped a working decentralized cloud protocol — already powering real use cases across DeFi, enterprise infrastructure, and the broader Web3 ecosystem.
ICN isn’t just live, it’s scaling.
Numbers that matter
From protocol activity to community engagement, the momentum has been tangible.
- 31,000+ HyperNodes staked
- 70.6M $ICNT in Total Value Locked (TVL)
- $1B+ in trading volume across exchanges within the first 2 weeks of launch
These metrics reflect infrastructure being adopted, tokens being used to secure the network, and a decentralized protocol delivering performance at scale.
“The AI era needs infrastructure that can match its speed and scale, and decentralized systems are the only models built for that future. In contrast, a decentralized, market-driven approach solves this problem: capacity can be deployed more efficiently where and when it’s needed without waiting years for centralized megaprojects.” - Kai Wawrzinek, Co-Founder of ICN
Powering real builders: ICN x Base Cloud Grants
Less than 3 weeks after launch, ICN rolled out its first ecosystem initiative: the ICN x Base Cloud Grants.
In partnership with Base, we awarded 50TB of decentralized cloud to five standout projects — each building real-world applications in Web3:
🟦 Tiamonds — Tokenizing high-value assets like diamonds and gold for global, 24/7 trading.
🟦 Paysats — Decentralized payments bridging crypto and India’s UPI network.
🟦 Sandworm — A powerful, easy-to-use blockchain data exploration and analysis tool.
🟦 Openbands — Privacy-first social platform for verified professionals, powered by ZK-proofs.
🟦 Tanbii — Gamified carbon reduction, rewarding eco-friendly lifestyles with tokens.
ICN is one of the first Web3 infrastructure projects to launch with ongoing revenue, enterprise customers, and live use cases — bringing Web2 businesses on-chain while enabling Web3 builders to ship from day one.
This milestone proved that our network can already power AI, DeFi, gaming, social platforms, and sustainability projects — with all of them running on the same decentralized cloud infrastructure.
Ecosystem integrations: building together
Aerodrome
Base’s central liquidity hub, Aerodrome boosts $ICNT accessibility and deepens availability through next-gen AMM mechanics. By integrating with Aerodrome, ICN makes it easier for users to trade, provide liquidity, and participate in the onchain economy — strengthening the financial rails that power our ecosystem.
GLIF
GLIF enables custom capital markets for Decentralized Physical Infrastructure (DePIN) networks. As one of ICN’s first DeFi integrations it enabled liquid staking for $ICNT — making participation more accessible with stICNT.
Cygnus
A decentralized app layer focused on the creator economy, Cygnus brings millions of Web2 users closer to decentralized infrastructure. Together, we’re making real-world UX meet scalable DePIN backends.
Symbiotic
This shared security protocol unlocks cross-protocol staking economies, enabling ICN to tap into new layers of composability, economic alignment, and validator incentives.
Each partnership brings more utility and more composability to the ICN protocol.
What’s next?
With mainnet live, we're just getting started — scale is next.
New hardware classes and node types are joining the network, unlocking more flexibility and use cases.
We're integrating deeper with DeFi, AI, and core Web3 infrastructure protocols to expand our ecosystem.
Performance upgrades and UX improvements are also on the way to make staking, deploying, and building on ICN smoother than ever. And as we grow, so do the opportunities — for contributors, builders, and early supporters to build and shape the decentralized cloud from the ground up.
Join the network that’s already delivering
ICN isn’t a future promise — it’s a live network with adoption, partnerships, and product already in-market.
Whether you're a builder, contributor, or cloud user you can start particiapting now.
